10月28日,在“bilibili超級(jí)科學(xué)晚”活動(dòng)上,,中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士褚君浩分享了一項(xiàng)令人驚嘆的科學(xué)發(fā)現(xiàn)——利用特殊材料實(shí)現(xiàn)“隱身術(shù)”,。
褚君浩院士請(qǐng)工作人員手持一塊面板,起初透過面板還可看到人物的下半身,。
而將這塊材料旋轉(zhuǎn)90°之后,褚君浩院士的下半身“消失不見了”,,但能夠清楚地看到人物身后的舞臺(tái)場(chǎng)景,。
褚君浩院士表示:“未來哈利·波特的隱形斗篷將成衣柜里的日常用品?!?/span>
In the future, everybody will have a Harry Potter invisibility cloak in the closet, said Chu Junhao, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai on Saturday.
At the Super Science Night held by Bilibili, China's major video-sharing platform, Chu showed how invisibility can be achieved with special technologies and materials.
He asked two staff members to hold a panel in front of him. Initially, the lower part of his body was visible through the panel. After rotating the panel 90 degrees, his lower half disappeared, but the stage behind him could still be clearly seen.

實(shí)際上,實(shí)現(xiàn)上述“隱身”效果的材料為柱鏡光柵,,它由一排排微小的圓柱狀凸透鏡排列組成,,每一個(gè)豎直圓柱狀凸透鏡都能把平行于它的物體縮小變細(xì),使光線能夠有規(guī)律地折射,。當(dāng)一排圓柱狀凸透鏡形成光柵,,則產(chǎn)生若干個(gè)細(xì)到被眼睛忽略的成像,視覺上達(dá)到“隱身”效果,。
The magic was realized by a lenticular grating composed of rows of tiny cylindrical convex lenses, and each vertical cylindrical convex lens can shrink and thin objects parallel to it, so that light can be refracted, according to Chu.
When a row of cylindrical convex lenses forms a grating, several images that are too small to be noticed by the eyes are produced, achieving an invisibility effect.
此外,,褚院士介紹,人們還可以利用折射率“隱身”,,例如,,高硼硅玻璃和甘油的折射率相近,當(dāng)使用高硼硅玻璃材質(zhì)的物體在甘油里運(yùn)動(dòng)時(shí)也可以‘隱身’,。褚君浩稱,,“這其實(shí)就是實(shí)現(xiàn)‘隱身衣’的原理之一,當(dāng)你穿上一件衣服,,它的面料和空氣折射率一致時(shí),,就能在日常生活中自如‘隱身’了?!?/span>
褚君浩進(jìn)一步表示,,當(dāng)前對(duì)于“隱身”最前沿的探索,不僅能躲避肉眼監(jiān)測(cè),,還能躲避紅外監(jiān)測(cè),。隨著現(xiàn)代探測(cè)手段的日益多樣化,針對(duì)單一光譜,如可見光,、紅外光等,,或者針對(duì)單一類型的探測(cè)器,如雷達(dá),、激光探測(cè)等早已不能滿足人們對(duì)于“隱身”的需求,。“
真正的‘完美隱身’要求對(duì)上述探測(cè)手段都能躲避,,其本質(zhì)是對(duì)任意電磁波的低可探測(cè)性,。‘超材料’的問世對(duì)實(shí)現(xiàn)任意電磁波的完美隱身提供了全新的解決方案,。它是人造復(fù)合材料,,通過設(shè)計(jì)、重組材料的細(xì)微結(jié)構(gòu),,改變光,、電磁波的常規(guī)性質(zhì)?!瘪揖品Q,。
Chu also showed several other ways to be invisible, such as using two substances with similar refractive indices and a plane mirror to create reflection imaging.

"Invisibility in science fiction will become reality as invisibility technology and material develop," he said.
